Victor Miranda
THE WARM, SOULFUL, AND MELODIC SPECTRUM OF ELECTRONIC HOUSE MUSIC. DEEP HOUSE ALTER-EGO OF PRODUCER VIC MIRANDA.
HOUSE / SOULFUL / DEEP HOUSE / VOCAL HOUSE
The Soulful Architect
Victor Miranda is a studio artist focused entirely on house music production, exploring the warm, soulful, and melodic side of electronic music. His tracks are built around deep grooves, emotive chord progressions, and rich vocal arrangements, made to move both intimate rooms and open dancefloors. Victor Miranda is the house music name of techno artist Vic Miranda.
The Sound
Inspired by classic house, contemporary melodic deep house, and soulful vocals, Victor builds his music around warm basslines, expressive vocal hooks, lush synth pads, and organic percussion. The result is soulful, uplifting, deep, and groovy: music with emotional depth.
Rather than following particular influences, Victor found his own path into house music, though hearing tracks by Olav Basoski, Roger Sanchez, and Armand Van Helden gave him the motivation to start producing it.
“House music is how I express myself when I feel enthusiastic, happy, and hopeful,” he says. “It’s where I paint the melodies that don’t fit into my techno canvas.”
In the Studio
For Victor, every track starts with melody. The melodies come first, straight from the soul, and he describes his hands as being guided as he brings those ideas to the keyboard. Beats and percussion come later in the process. Every track is created from scratch, without loops or construction kits, and over the years this approach has filled his folders with more than hundreds of unreleased tracks across his projects, waiting for their moment.
Releases & Collaborations
Victor’s first house 12″, “I Got Soul,” was released in 2003 on the German label Muschitunes. Between 2004 and 2006 he remixed several tracks for Louis Botella, including “Together,” “Africadanca,” and “Let’s Be Free,” and in 2008 he remixed Nari & Milani’s “Disco Nuff” together with Renzo Bellanima.
In 2009 he released “Mood for Love” featuring Rachel Huggins from the UK, later remixed by San Francisco house producers High Spies, and remixed Louis Botella’s “Beautiful Summer” featuring Linda Newman. In 2010 came “Times” featuring Eva Diva from Cyprus, released on his label shOO. A vocal progressive house track and his most radio-friendly release, it received international radio rotation.
In 2012, together with Portuguese producer Luis Leite, he released the progressive house track “Call Me Back” featuring vocalist Dady on shOO. After Dady’s passing in 2023, the track was re-released as a tribute, including the “Remember Dady Tribute Mix” and an “Original Rework.”
He has also remixed Chicago project Makers of Sense, Rams Fax, and Super Loud Bros, and reworked Dopefish’s “Common Loon” together with KittyMeoww. His music has also been remixed by Phunkstatike from Buenos Aires.
Songwriting
Alongside his own productions, Victor writes music for other artists across different styles. He composed a CD single for INOX and four singles for BABACAR, both artists from Luxembourg, as well as full albums for French artists Cedric James (pop and synthwave pop) and Joelle (pop and future pop). He has also worked extensively as a ghostwriter.
